Hopefully your Christmas and New Year was full of relaxation and fun.
In case you hadn’t noticed I took a mini impromptu blog break over the Christmas and New Year period, I had planned to continue blogging all the way through but something happened on my first day of holidays… I started to forget what day it was. That would have to be my favourite thing about Holidays, you have little to no need for dates, times or commitments. You just do what you want, when you want (kinda, sorta, maybe)
Being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a weird experience to have to go through, its serious yet not urgent, you have it for life yet not all time, it’s something that just sits there in the back of your mind, until it doesn’t.
Almost a year ago now, I lost the vision in my left eye, after a few days of it getting considerably worse, I found myself in the Hospital Emergency Department. I thought I would be given some antibiotics and maybe some eye drops and be sent on my merry way, instead an ophthalmologist was being called in from home on a Sunday night to treat me. Instead I was put through test after test, question after question and finally sent for an MRI.
It’s been a big few weeks for me, I’ve had lots going on all at once and at times feel like I’m being pulled in a million different directions, aren’t we all though?
Seeing as my blog is a whole 5 days old today I thought it would be good to get to know each other better.
I thought I would stop and ‘take stock’. The Take Stock list is the brain child of Pip from Meet me at Mikes. It’s a list to stop and reflect on your current.
I thinks it’s the perfect way to introduce myself to you all and perhaps even take stock.
Well to be honest I’m not entirely sure yet, I’d like to say I have a long and thought out plan but no, for now it’s just me and my laptop.
Twist of Cait has been a long time coming, just ask my boyfriend, who for blog purposes will go by the name Mr Twist. At least once a day for the past few years I would somehow manage to turn any conversation back to me and how ‘I just really want to start a blog’.
It started 2 years ago when I literally stumbled across my future blog obsession.
